What is Lakihelppi?
Lakihelppi is a technology company and a startup that makes personal legal assistance available to everyone, regardless of time and place. All this is done at transparent prices and without an appointment.
“Legal matters can be handled, for example, in law offices or with contract machines, but for us it was particularly important to maintain a personal service, because people still want to handle their legal matters with a real lawyer,” Lakihelppi’s co-founder Johanna opens. “Our technology, on the other hand, significantly reduces the time a lawyer spends on one assignment, which allows us to offer clients legal help quickly and at a lower price,” Johanna continues.
Thanks to Lakihelppi, no one has to spend time looking for the right lawyer anymore. The customer only needs to tell the matter in which they need help with, and Lakihelppi will connect the customer with a lawyer who specializes in the matter.
What does Lakihelppi offer to the legal industry?
Lakihelppi shapes working methods in the legal field, where the working conditions are quite notoriously unattractive.
“We wanted to offer lawyers the opportunity to work completely independently, from anywhere and at any time. This model revolutionizes the well-known working shifts that stretch into the night, but also offers an opportunity to maintain income and professional skills, for example, for those on parental leave, those with families or anyone who just also values free time,” Lakihelppi’s co-founder Katariina explains.
“A lot of a lawyer’s time is also spent on everything other than the substantive expertise itself, and the client has to pay for that work as well. With our technology, the time a lawyer spends on a single assignment can be reduced from hours or weeks to even minutes,” Katariina says. “With Lakihelppi, lawyers can focus only on substantive expertise. This makes working pleasant and the clients get legal help at a cheaper price,” Katariina continues.
